Alpha

Alpha is an opportunity to explore life and the Christian faith in a friendly, open, and informal environment. Each week we get together, have a scrummy meal, free of charge. Watch a talk that looks at a different topic around faith and is designed to create conversation - you can say anything at all or just listen if you’d prefer. Each session is hosted in a group.

The 8 week course is also a chance to meet new people and connect!  We will be kicking off on Wednesday 25th March for a taster session and then from Wednesday 22nd April June 2026 at St Margaret’s Church Angmering, a meal will be served at 7.15pm.

The course sessions look like this:
Wed 25th March (Taster session) - “Who is Jesus?”
Wed 22nd April - “Why did Jesus die?”
Wed 29th April - “How can I have faith?”
Wed 6th May - “Why and how do I pray?”
Wed 13th May - “How and why should I read the Bible?"
Sat 16th May - Holy Spirit morning (9am—1pm)
Wed 20th May -  "How does God guide us?"
Wed 27th May - "Why and How Should We Tell Others?"
Wed 3rd June - "What about the Church?"

What’s involved?

The evening starts with refreshments from 7pm. We always aim to be finished by 9.15pm.

We are planning to have a day away during the course.

You're welcome to pop along for the first night and see what you think?

What will it cost?

The course is absolutely free. If you'd like to, you can make a small voluntary contribution towards dinner on the evening.

Okay, I'm interested… what next?
