Alpha
Alpha is an opportunity to explore life and the Christian faith in a friendly, open, and informal environment. Each week we get together, have a scrummy meal, free of charge. Watch a talk that looks at a different topic around faith and is designed to create conversation - you can say anything at all or just listen if you’d prefer. Each session is hosted in a group.
The 5 week course is also a chance to meet new people and connect! We will be kicking off on Wednesday 18th June 2025 at St Margaret’s Church Angmering, a meal will be served at 7.15pm.
The course sessions look like this:
Wed 18th June - “Who is Jesus?”
Wed 25th June - “Why did Jesus die?”
Wed 2nd July - “How can I have faith?”
Wed 9th July - “Why and how do I pray?”
Sat 12th July - Holy Spirit morning (9am—12.30pm)
Wed 16th July - “How and why should I read the Bible?”
What’s involved?
The evening starts at 6.45pm with refreshments and then dinner at 7.15pm. We always aim to be finished by 9.15pm.
We are planning to have a day away during the course.
You're welcome to pop along for the first night and see what you think?
What will it cost?
The course is absolutely free. If you'd like to, you can make a small voluntary contribution towards dinner on the evening.
