Here at St Margaret’s Church we are all about making disciples of Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19). Men are no exception. Our men’s ministry serves to fulfill this aim for men. Disciples are called. So we have regular evangelistic events in which the good news of Jesus Christ is clearly and presented. These events seek to let men know that God is there and cares for them. Disciples are trained. Following Jesus is not always easy. We all need to grow in knowledge and love of Jesus. Whether you’re a new Christian reading the Bible for the first time. Or whether you’re an old hand facing new issues and wanting to do so for God’s glory. Teaching and growing is key. To this end we offer regular Impact Groups (groups of around three) which meet for prayer and study. Finally, disciples are a group. There are no lone wolf Christians. Part of what we aim to do through our men’s ministry is to bring men together. To build relationships that will sustain and challenge a long obedience following our Lord Jesus Christ.
