Currently we are broadcasting two services a week, at 10am on Sundays and Wednesdays - see the Live Stream page. (Our normal Sunday service schedule is currently suspended due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic).
With effect from 2 September we can begin to have some people present in person during the services. There are some requirements for those who do plan to attend.
- Places will need to be booked in advance (more on this below)
- Face coverings are mandatory whilst in church, though those leading / preaching can remove whilst doing so, with appropriate social distancing.
- Singing by the congregation is not currently permitted, but we hope to include elements of both recorded and live music.
- You may be asked to queue outside on arrival to reduce congestion and contact.
- Please use hand sanitiser upon entering and leaving the building, either your own or there will be dispensers available.
- As we need to ensure social distancing whilst people are in the building, please follow any directions given to you by the warden / steward and please sit where directed rather than a “favourite” spot.
- Names of attendees will be recorded and kept for 21 days to assist ‘track and trace’ if required.
8. Please leave the building at the end of the service as directed
In order to manage numbers, as we are required to do, we are putting in place a weekly system to allow people to reserve places for a service they want to come to, giving those who cannot access services online priority to book in before it is open to everyone else. This will work in the following way.
For those without internet access
Priority booking - A place can be booked by calling Sara (or Chris) on 01903 784459 in the church office (timings below)
Using MyChurchSuite / Website Calendar
Places (tickets) can be booked through the event page on the MyChurchSuite app, go to ‘My Events’ and locate the next service and click ‘Sign Up’. Then simply follow the prompts as you would do so for any other event. The same page can be located via the calendar on the church website. If you need any help with the signing up process, then please do not hesitate to call Chris or Sara who will be happy to assist.
Priority Booking Only
Online booking opens
No time restriction
No booking required
This is new territory for all of us so please note that the above timings may be revised as we learn and gain experience.
We look forward to being able to worship together, both those in the building, though low in numbers compared to what was “normal” pre COVID, and those joining via livestream.

Before the lockdown
Pre lockdown normal Sunday service schedule is listed below. In August and December we combine the 9.30am and 11.15am services with a 10.00am start.
8am Holy Communion
A traditional and reflective service of Holy Communion using the Book of Common Prayer. There is no music at this service, apart from at Christmas. It lasts 45 minutes and 20-25 people attend.
9.30am Family Service
A lively, contemporary, family-orientated service with kids' groups. It’s accessible, informal, with a band, and a blend of songs and hymns. This service incorporates teaching and application for committed Christians to feed on but is still accessible and encouraging for spiritual seekers. The service is great for visitors and guests are very welcome. On the 1st Sunday of the month is the The One Service when the whole church, young and old, meet together to worship, pray and learn together in all sorts of creative ways. Communion is on the 3rd Sunday of the month, and there are occasional baptisms and mission slots. It lasts for about 75 minutes (you can be home or out and about by 11.00am or stay for a coffee and chat) and is attended by 125-150 people.
11.15am Morning Worship
This is a shorter, more traditional service with liturgy, hymns and one or two well-known, much-loved songs. There is teaching and application especially geared towards committed Christians. Communion is on the 2nd Sunday of the month. The service lasts 60 minutes and 25-40 people attend, with a vision to grow to 50-80.
5pm The Five
We like to think that The Five is a service for everyone, from the youngest to the oldest, to enjoy hearing from the bible and praising God together. You’re invited to join us from 4.30pm when we have a chance to share an informal afternoon tea together before the service begins. This is a great chance to catch up with people. The service begins at 5.00pm with everyone together before the 3s-11s go out for their groups.
Whether you’re a regular at church, or just beginning to explore the Christian faith, we hope this service will help you understand more about the wonderful news of Jesus and what it means for each of us today. Communion is on the 4th Sunday of the month. This service lasts 60-70 minutes and is attended by 80-100 people. Rooted, a group for teens, runs after this service.
10.30am Holy Communion
A traditional and reflective service of Holy Communion, using the Book of Common Prayer.
