I’m married to Morag and we have three primary-aged children, William, Evie & Freddie. I was born and raised on the wonderful Island of Guernsey (which will always be home!).

After studying Sports Science at Exeter University I worked for UCCF as a staff worker for Christian Unions in East and West Sussex for four years. During that time we moved to Angmering and attended St. Margaret’s before I moved onto staff team here for five years from 2012-17. I went off to Oak Hill Theological College to begin my ordination training and was ordained in 2020. I did my curacy at Bishop Hannington in Hove and now find myself back here and in a new an exciting role helping develop links into our growing village and helping families grow up to know and love Jesus.

As a family we love going to the beach with and without our energetic dog Ernie.

I am married to Zillah and was raised in Farnham in Surrey. I started my journey working as a teaching assistant in two different primary schools, but when the funding ran out, God pointed me towards Moorlands Bible College, where I got a qualification in Applied Theology in Youth and Community Work in 2015.

From there, I moved to Wandsworth in London and became the Youth and Children’s Pastor at West Side Church in 2016. I enjoyed serving the Wandsworth community for 5 and a half years, growing the youth and children’s ministry, before being employed here at St Margaret’s in 2021.

I have a huge passion for youth and children, and particularly enjoy hosting events for them. I consider myself a man of God first, and a big nerd second. I enjoy movies, board games, card games and comics. I also enjoy going on walks, spending time with friends, and eating food.

I’m married to Susan, and we have two children, Lucy (who is studying Physiotherapy at University) and William, who is in his first year studying Law at Nottingham University.

Before ordination, I was a barrister specialising in family law, but decided I would prefer to spend my time helping people to find life through Jesus rather than pursuing a legal career. Fortunately, the Church of England agreed and I was ordained in 1995, serving initially in Sevenoaks and then, since 1999, in Angmering where I have been very happy and felt fulfilled

I enjoy spending my time with family and friends, I love reading, cinemas, walking in the beautiful Sussex countryside and visits to the gym, except after family holidays!
